Dunga gali

Dungagali is 3 KM form Nathiagali on the road to Murree at an elevation of 2460 meters. It is picturesquely situated on the slopes of Mukshpuri Hill and commands a beautiful southward view of the wooded spurs that project towards the Jhelum River. One can also climb the 2813 meter peak of Mukshpuri, which is the second highest point in Galliat area. Dungagali is also the entry point of Ayubia National Park, which is spread over an area of 3312 hectares and is the natural habitat of numerous species of wild animals.

Dunga Gali is one of the beautiful small picnic spot of the Galiyat area of Ayubia National Park, at an altitude of 2,500 metres (8,200 ft) in northern Pakistan. Dunga Gali is located in Nathia Gali Union Council (subdivision) of Abbottabad District in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province (KPK) . It is 3 kilometers (1.9 mi) from Nathia Gali. Most of the Tourists are enjoy at Dung gali Track (Pipe line Track) A water Supply Scheme from Dungagali to Murree via Gravity flow, which link Dung gali to Ayubia and its just 20-30 minutes walk to reach Ayubia.

Short History: During British Rule, Dunga Gali served as a sanatorium to British soldiers and contained a hotel, church and a post office. The area was also visited by Europeans, who also had houses on the southern slopes of the nearby Mukeshpuri and Miranjani Mountains.
